Carl's Jr. is an American fast-food chain founded as a hot-dog cart by Carl Karcher in 1941. It is famous for creating a variety of American dishes in the fast-food format. In the year 2000, in order order to promote the 1998 television program Godzilla: The Series, Carl's Junior and their adopted brand Hardee's released Godzilla-themed merchandise.

As part of the promotion, Carl's Jr. produced Godzilla toys to be distributed with their kid's meals. They include:
- A helicopter spinning disc launcher
- A fire shooting Godzilla
- A Baby Godzilla with an egg
- A H.E.A.T. Seeker with a map
