"Chibi Godzilla's Second Form" (ちびゴジラ第2形態, Chibi Gojira Daini Keitai) is the 10th episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on June 3, 2023. An English-subtitled version followed on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO YouTube channel that June 12.
Plot
Chibi Mechagodzilla is startled to find Chibi Godzilla as a wriggling, beige, worm-like creature. Chibi Godzilla explains that he simply got a crick in his neck overnight, but Mechagodzilla wonders how that could change his entire body shape. Chibi Ghidorah and Chibi Mothra also appear and react to Chibi Godzilla's state, but immediately recognize it to be a result of him sleeping wrong. Chibi Godzilla complains that he can't turn his head and that red liquid sprays from the slits in his sides, but he finds upsides in that he can relate to slugs and that he can use the red liquid to scare away enemies.
Nonetheless, Chibi Godzilla wonders how he can fix his neck. Ghidorah comments that there isn't much that can be done about it, but Mechagodzilla insists he see a doctor, pointing out how even his color has changed. However, Chibi Godzilla retorts that discoloration is normal, and lists examples: bumped knees turn purple, boiled crabs turn red, and traffic lights change color all the time. Mothra finally recommends that he try stretching his neck, to which he obliges. Though Mechagodzilla is skeptical, Chibi Godzilla's body begins turning green again and he declares that he's starting to care less about slugs, which Mothra takes to be a good sign. Before long, Chibi Godzilla completely returns to normal, though he still expresses care for slugs, which worries Ghidorah.
Sometime later, the monsters find that Chibi Godzilla has reverted to his slug-like form, but is now purple. He explains this by saying that he bumped his knee, again perplexing Mechagodzilla.
