Meanwhile, in Washington D.C., Godzilla and King Ghidorah begin to fight, blasting each other with their signature attacks. Back in the woods, another brawl starts and ends just as quickly with a bandit getting his nose broken by Steven. The duo decide to rest, but as Steven is about to get Allie a snack, he is bitten by a snake, worrying the little girl about both Steven's condition and the whereabouts of the snake. Allie then wraps up Steven's bite, as he teaches her about how some snake bites can cause hallucinations and hands her the kaiju detection device, saying that they should keep moving - but not before Allie makes Steven promise that he won't die. As the battle between Godzilla and Ghidorah rages on, Allie and a worsening Steven are confronted with a battle of their own from a pack of wolves.
