- Despite the synopsis, Godzilla and SpaceGodzilla never fight in the issue, though they encounter each other at the very end. Also worth noting is that Lucy never physically appears in the issue but is mentioned by Steven Woods and the Shobijin.
- At one point, when he is headbutted in the stomach by a Trilopod while charging his atomic breath, Godzilla fires a fiery orange beam reminiscent of how his atomic breath appeared in Godzilla 2000: Millennium and Godzilla vs. Megaguirus.
