Kamata is a region in ota ward tokyo.This is the city where Kamata kun attacks in [[Shin Godzilla]].Important things that are here are Kamata station and the headquarters of Tokyo inn.Kamata became a ward of [[Tokyo]] in 1932.Kamata is in the Kanagawa prefecture.Kamata is famous for its hot springs.Another famous thing in kamata is the kamata hachiman shrine. Godzilla's second form (given the fan nickname Kamata-kun, after the city) attacking Kamata in Shin Godzilla.

After Godzilla’s tail was spotted breaching the ocean’s surface in Tokyo Bay, the government assured the citizens that the creature would not surface, only for the giant monster to make landfall and venture into Kamata, causing death and destruction, prompting the JSDF to attack it.
