Description

"The damn dirty crossover event you demanded! Following the events of the first Planet of the Apes film (1968), Dr. Zaius and General Ursus lead a small group of soldiers to the Forbidden Zone to destroy any remaining evidence of Taylor's time among them. To their surprise, they discover... A KONG! Now they must venture to Skull Island with Cornelius and Zira to discover the truth, but they may not survive the deadliest journey of their lives!"

Plot

In the year 3978, after a time displaced human named Taylor destroyed the reputations of doctors Zira and Cornelius and threw the ape civilization into turmoil, Dr. Zaius lead a mission to destroy the remains of the Statue of Liberty in a ploy to keep ape-kind oblivious to the fact that they were living on a planet once dominated by humans. However, a gorilla soldier under the command of General Ursus came to fetch Zaius, who summoned doctors the disgraced Zira and Cornelius to study the corpse of a gigantic female ape that had washed ashore. The autopsy shortly began, and in time, Zaius was allowed to mount an expedition to Skull Island.
