The Sphinx Prince is an extraterrestrial prince that appeared in the 1979 short story, "A Space Godzilla", published in Starlog magazine.
History
"A Space Godzilla"
When the space Godzilla, Rozan, flew to the planet that the Sphinx Prince, along with the Sphinx Princess, Kunin, Lilin and some sphinxes were on, the Sunerians were ordered to fire at her by their leader Gamoni. In the battle that followed, the Sunerian Queen and Gamoni started slaughtering the space Godzillas one by one. However, during this time, the Sphinx Prince ordered a group of Sphinxes to infiltrate the palace that the Sunerian forces were in and blow it up from the inside, which they succeeded in. After this, the Sphinxes and Godzillas gained the upper hand, and began killing off the Sunerians, however the Sphinx Prince was killed while this was happening.
