"The Resplendent Maiden, Chibi Mothra" (極彩色の乙女 ちびモスラ is the third episode of Gokusaishiki no Otome: Chibi Mosura)Chibi Godzilla Raids Again. Written by Taketo Shinkai and Yuki Hirokawa, it aired on Japanese television on April 15, 2023. An English-subtitled version followed on the GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO YouTube channel that April 24.
Plot
In a classroom on Monster Island, the Shobijin do Chibi Mothra's makeup. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Mechagodzilla soon appear, causing Mothra anxiety. The pair explain that they've come to talk with Mothra, which the Shobijin relay to her. Assuming bad intentions, the Shobijin pretend to 'translate' for Mothra against her will, bitterly demanding that Godzilla and Mechagodzilla leave. Godzilla explains that Mothra supposedly conveys her thoughts to the Shobijin telepathically, though Mechagodzilla immediately suspects that they are the fairies' own thoughts. Mechagodzilla tries to explain that he'd merely like to introduce himself to Mothra, but is cut off by the Shobijin, who scold him for "peeping" on her. Mechagodzilla resolves to speak with Mothra directly, and she explains that the Shobijin were teaching her about makeup. Mechagodzilla comments that he finds her cute just the way she is, and she becomes flustered. Now believing Mothra to have a crush on Mechagodzilla, the Shobijin shift plans, relaying more phony translations to hit on him. As Mechagodzilla yells that he doesn't believe the fairies, Mothra begins crying in embarrassment, which the Shobijin blame on him. Suddenly, Mothra begins expelling poisonous scales, which Godzilla explains happens when she cries. Within seconds, the whole group is incapacitated. With a sniffle, Mothra tells Mechagodzilla that it was nice to meet him.

Trivia
- The Shobijin translating for Chibi Mothra is a reference to Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964), in which the fairies relay Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra's conversation to the human characters.
