After defeating the disciples of the dojo, Ludra was attacked by Guyferd, whom he sent flying with a ki attack. He tries to inflict a killing blow, but he is interrupted by the dojo master. the master absorbs Ludra's blast and begins to reconfigure it into his own attack, but during the time it takes to do this Ludra sends another blast which blows him away. he is immediately attacked by Guyferd again who turns Ludra's palms against his chest while trying to do another ki technique, which greatly damages Ludra, leaving him open to one of Guyferd's blasts which kills him, but not before he sends the Fallah Shield talisman to Zodiac.
