Kong: The Series

How do we know that the dragon in Kong: The Animated Series is indeed the two-legged lizard and not an homage to the aforementioned creature? The creature that appears in the cartoon looks radically different from the lizard from the original movie save for the fact that its serpentine and has two legs, which aren't even in the same position as the the original two-legged lizard. --Collector1 (talk) 03:25, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

It's definitely meant to be an homage to the two-legged lizard, and since it doesn't really have an official name as far as I can tell, it makes sense to just include it on the page for the two-legged lizard, like how we have the giant octopus from The Godzilla Power Hour on the Giant Octopus page. It wouldn't make sense to create an entirely separate page called "Two-Legged Lizard (Kong: The Animated Series)" or "Unnamed Two-Legged Serpent."
