Bosskonger (ボスコンガー,   Bosukongā) is a King Kong-like mecha created by Konami that first appears in the 1988 video game, Konami Wai Wai World.

Appearance

Bosskonger's overall appearance is similar to that of Mechani-Kong, however with a multitude of differences. Bosskonger's entire body is colored a dark gold color with some red accents. It has an extremely King Kong-like head with red eyes, a bulky torso with small wings attached and a jetpack built-in, relatively long arms with missile launchers for hands, and no legs with wires hanging from within its thigh sockets.

History

Konami Wai Wai World

Bosskonger is the final boss of Konami Wai Wai World's fourth stage called City Stage. After Bosskonger is defeated, the player acquires a key to set King Kong free from his imprisonment.

Abilities

  • Bosskonger's integrated jetpack allows for it to achieve constant flight, and is seen exclusively doing so.
  • The missile launchers mounted at the end of Bosskonger's extremities fire guided missiles.
