Guyborg GX-9 (ガイボーグ・GX-9,   Gaibōgu Jī Ekkusu Nain) is an enhanced Assassin Guyborg created by Toho that first appeared in episode 13 of the 1996 tokusatsu kaiju series, Seven Star Fighting God Guyferd titled Assassination Command GX-9.

Design

GX-9 is one of the few Guyborgs to be seen out of his armor. Without it, he tends to wear a long coat, and the standard Guyborg sunglasses.

History

Seven Star Fighting God Guyferd

Assassination Command GX-9

At a young age, GX-9 was left at an orphanage where he "got tough" from a lifetime of being bullied. He is eventually taken by Crown to be a part of their Guyborg project. He became an Assassin Guyborg. This specialization may be the reason that he was not destroyed in the destruction of Crown under Mr. Bicross. He eventually thinks he has found the woman who left him at the orphanage, but she is a target. He tries all that he can to avoid killing her, even going as far to seek help from the enemy Go Kazama. His shiftiness is eventually discovered by Crown's new leader Metal Master, and he is wounded fighting him. He comes to terms with the mysterious target woman, but then realizes that he is self-destructing and runs outside to keep her safe.

Abilities

Guyborg GX-9 has the same abilities as the Guyborgs as well as:

Electric Skewer

A long, sharp, pointed, metal rod can be extended from around the knuckle area on GX-9's right hand. GX-9 is able to send electric currents through this rod to more effectively eliminate targets.

Stun Batons

Some small stun batons can be extended from GX-9's left hand.
