The Mire Squid is a giant cephalopod Template:Kaiju that appears in the 2017 Legendary Pictures Template:FilmC, Kong: Skull Island.
Appearance
The Mire Squid's entire body has not yet been seen. All that has been revealed of the creature so far are its tentacles, which are red and incredibly long. The Mire Squid's tentacles resemble those of octopus, but the creature appears to possess far more than eight tentacles.
Origin
According to Monarch's superspecies profile of the Mire Squid, it is classified as a "megalopod" under the sub-division of "Architeuthis [the Giant Squid] Hybrid."
