The River Devil is a giant cephalopod Template:Kaiju that appears in the 2017 Legendary Pictures Template:FilmC, Kong: Skull Island.

Appearance

The River Devil's entire body has not yet been seen. All that has been revealed of the creature so far are its tentacles, which are red and incredibly long. The River Devil's tentacles resemble those of octopi, but the River Devil appears to possess far more than eight tentacles.

To hunt prey, the River Devil rotates its jaw like a centrifuge, forming a whirlpool in the surrounding water that allows the creature to swallow its prey.
