The Mutant Leech is a kaiju created by Toho that appears in the 1974 film, Prophecies of Nostradamus.

History

A United Nations expedition team is sent out to New Guinea to rescue a previous expedition team that went missing  after a series of freak climate changes occurring across the globe. Upon arrival to New Guinea, it is discovered that atomic dust clouds had irradiated the animal population. After being attacked by Giant Bats, the team encounters the mutant Leeches living on trees and branches.
