King Ghidorah
;King Ghidorah
The King Ghidorah figure, released September 29, 2012, comes with three gravity beams. It is cautioned that the figure's wings are on uncomfortably small ball joints that must be moved at their bases, presenting a strong risk for them being damaged. It is based on the Heisei King Ghidorah from Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah.
A figure of King Ghidorah as he appears in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah was released on September 29, 2012 in Japan and October 29, 2012 in the United States. Accessories include three gravity beams, a display stand for said beams and three Tamashii Stage Act arms. Many initial reports of this figure featured its wings snapping at the base due to a fragile construction in the joints. Care must be taken when handling the wings and it is strongly cautioned to either refrain from moving them or to move them at their bases slowly to prevent any damage. This figure was repainted in 2015 as a Bandai Premium Web Shop Exclusive Poster Color version.

Released on July 31, 2013, the Destoroyah Evolution Set includes Destoroyah's juvenile, aggregate, and flying forms, as well as an alternate head for the aggregate form. The juvenile or "crab" form figure is noticeably inaccurate to the film, featuring crab-like claws on the front of its body and two spear-like claws extending from its back, features exclusive to the aggregate form. It is possible that this figure is meant to represent the multiple small aggregate Destoroyahs that attacked Godzilla in the film rather than the monster's juvenile forms.

The right arm was changed to reveal gears and a different shoulder. It was given a new hand to make it look like it could become the drill. It comes with a Tokyo S.O.S. style backpack and wrist-mounted rail guns, a battle-damaged head with one eye, and a drill part.

Following the gimmick of the Tamashii MIX subline, the figure can split apart into multiple vehicles, as this version of Mechagodzilla did in early story drafts for Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II. The figure was released in September 2017, alongside the S.H. Tamashii Nations Logo.gif

S.H. MonsterArts is a subline of Tamashii Nations' S.H. Figuarts line of super-articulated action figures. Beginning in November of 2011, the line initially started as a purely Godzilla-based assortment before eventually including other franchises such as Alien, Gamera, King Kong, Monster Hunter, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Predator, although Godzilla remains the primary focus.[1] The figures are distributed to the United States via BlueFin Industries with the sole exception being figures sold exclusively through the Bandai Premium Web Shop.

Main line

2011

Godzilla

The first figure in the line was based on the Godzilla suit used in Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla. It was released on November 19, 2011 in Japan and December 20th, 2011 in the United States. A "first edition" release came with a blue atomic breath effect and a radiation wave base, while subsequent issues were replaced with a second edition lacking accessories and packaged in a smaller box. A reissue of the "second edition" variant was released in the summer of 2012. The figure was redecoed into the Meltdown Godzilla Comic Con Explosion Exclusive.

Mechagodzilla

This figure of Mechagodzilla from Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II was released on December 3, 2011. Accessories included a Mega-Buster ray, an interchangeable Plasma Grenade lens, and optional flight parts. The figure was compatible with the Bandai Premium Web Shop Exclusive Garuda Set, which could plug into the back. In 2017, the figure was reissued with the Garuda and sporting a more metallic paint job as Super Mechagodzilla.

Godzilla Effects and Toho Ultimate Weapons Pack

A Bandai Premium Web Shop Exclusive released in December of 2011, this set features a red atomic heat beam for Godzilla, multiple military vehicles, the Super X2 and an assortment of Tamashii Stage Act arms and two display bases for the arms.

2012

UX-01-92 Garuda

Released in 2012 as a Bandai Premium Web Shop Exclusive. Accessories include parts to combine it with the Mechagodzilla figure, a display stand featuring the United Nations Godzilla Countermeasures Center logo, G-Crusher cables for Mechagodzilla, and weapon effects.

SpaceGodzilla

Released on March 24, 2012 in Japan and April 24, 2012 in the United States. Accessories include a corona beam effect, a crystalline effect piece and a Tamashii Stage Act arm to hold the beam. Many collectors have reported the paint on the shoulder crystals to chip over time. The figure was repainted in 2018 as part of a Bandai Premium Web Shop Exclusive Set with LittleGodzilla.

MOGUERA

Released on May 12, 2012 in Japan and June 12, 2012 in the United States. Accessories include Plasma Cannon effect parts, Spiral Grenade Missile effect parts, pieces to replicate the flight mode, and two Tamashii Stage Act arms with city bases. The U.S. release's box reads "MOGUERA," with no periods after the letters and a "U," while the Japanese release's box reads "M.O.G.E.R.A.," with periods after each letter and without a "U", due to the Japanese acronym for the mecha's name simply being "Mobile Operations Godzilla Expert Robot Aero-type".

LittleGodzilla

A Bandai Premium Web Shop Exclusive, LittleGodzilla was released on June 15, 2012 in Japan and July 15, 2012 in the United States. Accessories include four crystals and two display stands.

Meltdown Godzilla (Comic-Con Explosion)

A redeco of the Godzilla figure, this figure was released on July 12, 2012, and was an exclusive release at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con International. The box features exclusive art by Yasushi Torisawa depicting Godzilla attacking the SDCC convention center.

Fire Rodan

Released on July 14, 2012 in Japan and August 12, 2012 in the United States. Accessories include two exclusive stand bases, a Tamashii Stage Act arm, a uranium heat beam, a red spiral heat ray intended for the Godzilla figure, and a damaged Mechagodzilla head. A prototype for a brown variant of the figure based on Rodan's normal form in the film was seen on display alongside the Mechagodzilla figure, but has not been released.

King Ghidorah

Godzilla (1995)

Released November 30, 2012 in Japan and December 30, 2012 in the United States, this figure is an entirely new mold from the initial Godzilla release, complete with an expanded range of articulation. Accessories include two Maser Freeze tanks (an MBT-MB92 and a CLT-95) and two interchangeable claws. This figure was repainted multiple times, first as the Godzilla 1995 Birth Version in 2014, then as the Bandai Premium Web Shop Exclusives "Ultimate Burning Godzilla" in 2016, then as the Neon Genesis Evangelion-inspired repaint dubbed Godzilla feat. Eva-01 and the Noriyoshi Ohrai Poster Version, both released in 2017.

Godzilla Junior

Released December 14, 2012 as a Bandai Premium Web Shop Exclusive. Accessories include two helicopters, two pairs of alternate blades, and two wire stands.

2013

Destoroyah (Perfect Form)

Representing the titular antagonist of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah in his demonic Perfect Form, this figure comes in a long box with no accessories. It was released on February 27, 2013.

Destoroyah Evolution Set (1995)

Released on July 31, 2013, the Destoroyah Evolution Set includes Destoroyah's Juvenile, Aggregate, and Flying Forms, as well as an alternate head for the Aggregate Form. The Juvenile Form figure is noticeably inaccurate to the film, featuring crab-like claws on the front of its body and two spear-like claws extending from its back, features exclusive to the Aggregate Form. It is possible that this figure is meant to represent the multiple small Aggregate Destoroyahs that attacked Burning Godzilla in the film rather than the monster's Juvenile Forms.

Biollante

Representing Biollante's Plant Beast Form from Godzilla vs. Biollante, this figure was released in November 2013 in Japan, and December 15, 2013 in the U.S. Biollante comes with a multi-colored light-up chest. Her box is a solid cardboard box similar to Godzilla 1964's box, and she comes with no effect parts or accessories.

Kong The 8th Wonder of the World

This figure of King Kong from Peter Jackson's 2005 remake comes in a tall box with a tree branch, three pairs of hands, a stand and a hand with Ann Darrow. It was released on April 27, 2013.

Godzilla (1964)

Representing Godzilla's design from Mothra vs. Godzilla, this figure includes no accessories. It was released in August 2013.

Type-3 Kiryu

Representing Kiryu, the Millennium Mechagodzilla from Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, this figure includes a dark blue jet pack and wrist-mounted railguns. It was released on September 14, 2013. Interchangeable shut-down and possessed head parts are included. The chest opens up to reveal the Absolute Zero Cannon inside.

Battra (Imago)

This figure of Battra's imago form from Godzilla vs. Mothra was released on December 27, 2013. It comes with a stand.

Godzilla 2000 Millennium

A Godzilla 2000 figure was first shown at Summer Wonfest 2013. Unlike the other Godzilla figures, this figure is not based on an actual design from a movie, but is instead based on Yuji Sakai's concept design for Godzilla in Godzilla 2000: Millennium. It lacks any accessories. It was released on December 28, 2013.

2014

Mothra (Imago)

A Mothra imago figure was shown at Summer Wonfest 2013. It is based on the Mothra imago from Godzilla vs. Mothra. It was released on April 25, 2014. It came with a flying stand and baseplate.

Gigan (2004)

Gigan 2004 was revealed at the Tamashii Nations 2013 event. It was released on April 19, 2014. It comes with two hook hands, two double chainsaw hands, a serrated head spike, two serrated mandibles, two-bladed mandibles, a bladed head spike, and a second armored neck.

Mothra (Larva) and Battra (Larva) Set

The set containing Mothra and Battra's larval forms from Godzilla vs. Mothra was released in June 2014. Mothra comes with a silk spray accessory.

Godzilla (2014)

Based on the Godzilla design from Legendary Pictures' Godzilla, confirmation of this figure's existence was presented at the 2014 Toy Fair. Due to the production schedule, the figurine was sculpted using reference materials from the movie, instead of the CGI 3D data.[2] It was shown under a black veil with a September 2014 release date.

Godzilla (Birth)

A remolded Burning Godzilla figure; this figure, officially called "Godzilla (1995 Birth)" in Japanese, represents the adult Godzilla Junior from the end of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. It was released on July 31, 2014, and was set for a reissue in September 2015.

Godzilla Effect Pack 2

The second Effect Pack was released in 2014. It came with four damaged buildings, one exploding beam type, one basic beam type, a fire stand, and a cracking ground stand.

Toho Ultimate Weapons Pack 2

The third Effect Pack was released in 2014, and includes the Super X3, four MBT-MB92s, four MBAW-93s, three ASTOL-MB93s, two damaged buildings, and a baseplate and stand for the Super X3. It also comes with the cadmium missile pod and freeze ray for the Super X3. The buildings can be used as stands for the ASTOLs or the Super X3. The stand has the same connection that was used for the flying vehicles in the first Effect Pack.

Type-3 Kiryu (Heavy Arms/High Mobility)

This figure of Modified Type-3 Kiryu from Godzilla: Tokyo SOS was released in October 2014 as a web exclusive. It is a remold of the earlier Type-3 Kiryu figure and painted in a more silver-gray color than the previous figure. It was remolded to include the triple Hyper Maser Cannon in its chest rather than the Absolute Zero Cannon. The chest flaps were also remolded to match this version of Kiryu. The right arm was changed to reveal gears and a different shoulder. It was given a new hand to make it look like it could become the Spiral Claw. It comes with a new backpack and wrist-mounted railguns, a battle-damaged head with one eye, and a Spiral Claw part.

2015

Mecha-King Ghidorah

Mecha-King Ghidorah was released in February 2015 as a web exclusive. It comes with the machine hand and the torso is made of diecast. It also comes with four Capture Cables and a stand. It appears to be a retool of the King Ghidorah figure. It also includes the three Dorats.

Gamera (1996)

The Gamera 1996 figure, based on Gamera's appearance from Gamera 2: Attack of Legion, was released in early 2015. It features a set of flying parts, including wings and a separate waist that has jets. It also comes with a fireball effect and a flying pose cradle. It includes the stand from the first Godzilla release, but in red.

Godzilla 2000 Millennium Special Color Ver.

The Godzilla 2000 Millennium figure was reissued in 2015 with a new paint job, most notably making the dorsal plates gray. It features no other remarkable changes.[3]

Godzilla (2014) Poster Image Ver.

A special reddish-hued repaint of the Godzilla 2014 figure based on Godzilla's color scheme in posters for the film was released on February 25, 2015, in Japan only alongside the Special Edition DVD plus the 3D and 2D Blu-ray set for Godzilla.[4]

Godzilla (2014) Spit Fire Ver.

A retool of the Godzilla 2014 figure featuring translucent glowing dorsal fins and an atomic breath accessory was announced as a web exclusive, with preorders beginning February 16, 2015, and the official Japanese release in July. The figure also includes the severed head of the female MUTO as an accessory.[5]

Godzilla (1964) The Emergence of Godzilla Ver.

The Godzilla (1964) Emergence of Godzilla Ver. was announced in May 2015. It is a repaint of the original Godzilla 1964 figure made to resemble Godzilla's appearance when he emerged from the sand at Nagoya Beach in Mothra vs. Godzilla, featuring a new atomic breath effect. It was released on November 14, 2015, but was available early at the 2015 New York Comic Con.

King Ghidorah Special Color Ver.

The King Ghidorah Special Color Ver. was announced in July 2015. It is a repaint of the original King Ghidorah figure, featuring a lighter yellow paint job based on how he appeared in Noriyoshi Ohrai's advance poster artwork for Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. It comes with three differently-colored beam accessories, colored after the beams King Ghidorah was seen firing on the poster, a stand that allows the figure to be posed like it is flying, and a figure of KIDS.

2016

Godzilla (2001)

On January 11, 2016, Tamashii Nations' American Facebook page uploaded a cropped image of the poster for Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.[6] Later, on January 14, the page uploaded a teaser image of the foot of a Godzilla figure, stating that it would be available for pre-order the next week.[7] On January 20, Bandai's Japanese website officially revealed the Godzilla 2001 figure. The site revealed that in Japan the figure would be available for preorder on January 22, and was scheduled to begin shipping in June.[8]

Godzilla (1954)

Godzilla 1954 was announced on February 19, 2016 and was targeted for an August release. This figure was confirmed to not be a Tamashii web exclusive, the first since Godzilla 2014.

Godzilla feat. EVA-01

Godzilla feat. EVA-01 was announced on May 19, 2016, as part of Toho and khara's Godzilla vs. Evangelion merchandise collaboration. It is a repaint of the Adult Godzilla Junior figure with an Evangelion Unit-01-themed paint scheme.[9] On July 7, it was revealed that the figure would not have an official North American release.
