Believing him to be their god Dagon, they witness his battle with an entity the Japanese called Jinshin-Mushi. After being defeated and infected with his enemy's parasitic young, Dagon regains consciousness and returns to the sea. Eventually, he collapses and dies in the Philippines. (Godzilla: Aftershock)
