The 155mm Howitzer M1s, alongside M24 Chaffee Tanks were deployed by the JSDF to take on the defensive perimeter along the coast of Tokyo Bay. Later that night, Godzilla appears from the surface and came to shore where he breaks through the electrified barrier with 50,000 volts of electricity while the military open fire with no effect on the 50 meters tall prehistoric nuclear monster. It's unknown if any Howitzers were destroyed by Godzilla during his rampage through Tokyo.
