History

Attack on Titan the Movie: Part 1

Colossal Titan

The Colossal Titan appeared behind the wall with steam spewing out of it. It kicked the wall down and let smaller Titans flood in, creating a massacre. Before the Garrison could react, the titan had already disappeared in the smoke.

Kubal

Two years after the Colossal Titan's attack, Kubal addresses recruits joining the new Scout Regiment. He shows them Hans who demonstrates the mobility gear they will be using against the titans. The Scout Regiment, Kubal, and the recruits then head to Monzen District where the Colossal Titan first appeared. On the journey, they draw in titans that attack them. Kubal then orders his comrades to leave the recruits behind. He later arrives in Otemachi and congratulates Shikishima for defending a secret stash of explosives hidden in the city. Kubal then reveals the location of the explosives to Shikishima. Later, he notices Armin and Sasha discussing machines and asks them questions about the technological advancements of humanity. He then dismisses them to rest. At daybreak, titans start attacking the city. Kubal and his troops focus their efforts on protecting the explosives. Eventually, the truck with the explosives is hijacked and detonate near a horde of titans. With no point of staying, Kubal and his soldiers leave the rest to fend for themselves.

Attack on Titan the Movie: Part 2

Kubal

After learning that one of the recruits, Eren can transform into a titan like himself, Kubal saw him as a possible threat. Kubal restrains him and declares him the first human ever captured to be able to turn into a titan and blames Eren for the Titans ravaging the area and brushes off the claims that Eren is a good-natured Titan just because he fought other Titans with the rest of the Scout Regiment. When Souda tries to defend Eren by mentioning that Kubal killed Eren's parents, he called Souda a drunk a shot him dead. Suddenly, a white, armored titan burst through the building, saving Eren and injuring Kubal. After recovering, Kubal goes to Monzen on foot. He comes at the aftermath of a battle between Shikishima's forces and the scouts and picks up a gun from one of the corpses. Kubal arrives at the top of the Outer Wall while the scouts return to seal the hole made by the Colossal Titan. He watches Eren and Shikishima battle in their titan and claps after Eren wins the bout. He offers them all a place in the interior if they hand over Eren. They refuse, so Kubal warns the group by shooting Armin in the leg. Sasha shoots arrows into Kubal's neck causing him to fall over and transform into the Colossal Titan.

Colossal Titan

After two years, the Colossal Titan returns. The scouts turn their attention to him the Colossal Titan swats many scouts away, including Jean. Eren is able to reach the Colossal Titan's nape, but is caught by him before he can slice out Kubal. The titan lets out a laugh and tries to crush Eren, but the White Titan, with the last bomb, jams it into the Colossal Titan's mouth and activates it, killing Kubal and the Colossal Titan.
