Daigo Kusano (草野大悟 was a Kusano Daigo)Japanese actor, who was born in Japanese Taiwan in 1939 and raised in Kagoshima Prefecture. Kusano acted on stage and in both film and television from the early 1960's through the 1980's, and like his contemporary and best friend Shin Kishida frequently appeared in films directed by Kihachi Okamoto. Kusano appeared in supporting roles in many of Tsuburaya Productions' tokusatsu series during the early 1970's, and is perhaps most well-known outside of Japan for his portrayal of the Black Hole Planet 3 Alien agent Yanagawa in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla.
