The episode opens with a statue in the temple of Chiros coming alive. Meanwhile, Jason Jenkins, Lua, Tan, and Kong searched Kong Island's river for the magic seal to Chiros's tomb. In a last ditch effort to find it, Lua searched the temple of Chiros to find the ancient scrolls left by her ancestors detailing the defeat of Chiros by the original Kong. After reading them, Lua became determined to trap Chiros with the four remaining Primal Stones in her possession, but was attacked by Harpy, who had lured her to the temple to take the Primal Stones to reawaken her master Chiros. Kong, sensing her danger, took Jenkins and Tannenbaum to the temple of Chiros to help her, but were driven away by Harpy's power. After receiving word from Dr. Jenkins that Chiros was prophesied to rise again in fire, Kong took Jason and Tan to a volcano where Harpy was holding her resurrection ritual. In a misguided attempt to halt Chiros's return, Kong threw his seal into the lava, which Harpy proclaimed would ressurect Chiros, who did rise again, but due to the presence of at least one Primal Stone, he was unable to leave his temple. Chiros then possessed one of the statues in his temple and began to fight Kong. Jason then used his Cyberlink computer to merge with Kong and fight. the combined rage in the hearts of both parties transformed Kong into "Mega Kong", and he defeated Chiros for the time being.
