Deathber (デスバー,   Desubā) is a future kaiju deployed by Neo Descal who first appeared in episode 14 of the 2005 tokusatsu series Super Fleet Sazer-X, entitled "Neo Descal, an Enemy from the Future."

Name

Deathber's name is derived from the English word "death," rendered in Japanese as desu (デス). The upgraded form Deathber receives in episode 18 is referred to as Neo Deathber (ネオデスバー,   Neo Desubā).[1]

Design

Deathber is extremely reminiscent of the Godzilla monster Hedorah, specifically the incarnation featured in Godzilla: Final Wars.
