- This article covers the 2019 Godzilla design. For the 2014 design, see GareGoji. For the Godzilla incarnation, see Godzilla/Legendary.
The DougheGoji (ドハゴジ is the DohaGoji)Godzilla design used in the 2019 Godzilla film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Name
"DougheGoji" combines the name of Michael Dougherty, director of Godzilla: King of the Monsters and creator of the design, and Godzilla's Japanese name, Gojira (ゴジラ).
Detail
The DougheGoji largely resembles its predecessor, the GareGoji, but features larger and differently-shaped dorsal plates based on the ShodaiGoji's[1], a face with slightly larger eyebrows, a thicker neck, longer legs, sharper claws on the feet, and a thicker tail with a round tip instead of a pointed tip.
