Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Fest Godzilla 3: Gigan Attacks (フェス・ゴジラ3 ガイガン来襲, Fesu Gojira Surī: Gaigan Raishū) is a tokusatsu kaiju short film directed, edited, and storyboarded by Kazuhiro Nakagawa. Funded by TOHO Visual Entertainment, it was produced by Episcope. It is the third of the "Fest Godzilla" shorts prepared for Godzilla Fest, after Godzilla Appears at Godzilla Fest and Godzilla vs. Hedorah, serving as a direct sequel to the latter. Like the entry before it, Fest Godzilla 3 was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its titular villain. It, along with the CG-animated short Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex, premiered during Godzilla Fest 2022 on November 3, 2022: the first Godzilla Fest event to feature more than one original production. It employs a crowdfunded replica of the Showa Gigan suit realized by Shinichi Wakasa and MONSTERS, Inc. |
