History

Millennium Series

Godzilla vs. Megaguirus

Operated by the G-Graspers, the Griffon first makes its appearance when it is tasked with following Godzilla. Landing on the surface of the ocean, a group of agents left the craft by raft and attached a tracker to Godzilla's dorsal plates.

Later, the Griffon travelled alongside the Mitsubishi F-15Js, luring Godzilla to Kiganjima, where it managed to distract the Kaiju King long enough for the Dimension Tide to activate. The Dimension tide wasn't yet powerful enough to defeat Godzilla, and the Griffon had to retreat upon the discovery of a Meganula swarm.

After Godzilla defeated Megaguirus, the Dimension Tide began to fall out of orbit. The G-Graspers onboard the Griffon decided to sacrifice their craft by nose-diving towards Godzilla, giving the damaged satellite an object to lock onto and fire at. This time, it was successful, sucking Godzilla into the miniature black hole and saving Japan, for the time being. Godzilla was by no means dead yet.
