Gamera: Dream Battle (ガメラ ドリームバトル,   Gamera Dorīmu Batoru) is a 1999 Japan-only game released for the Sega Dreamcast's Visual Memory Unit (VMU), as a tie-in for the film Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris. It comes packaged with a small figure of Gamera, and was released on March 25, 1999.

Gameplay

Gamera: Dream Battle operates both like a virtual pet game similar to Bandai's Tamagotchi, and as a tournament fighter with RPG-style battles. The player is able to select a monster and raise and train it, then enter it into a fighting tournament against other monsters. If the player also owns the game Mothra: Dream Battle, released three months prior, they can allow monsters from both games to fight against each other. To date, this marks the only game where monsters from the Godzilla and Gamera series can fight.
