"Godman vs. Gattlar" (ゴッドマン対ギャットラー, Goddoman tai Gyattorā) comprises the 43rd to 48th episodes of Go! Godman, the eighth overall story arc. They aired on Nippon TV from November 23 to 28, 1972.
Plot
From over a hill, the strange monster Gattlar appears, and begins throwing boulders at a town below. The disembodied voices of children can be heard calling out for Godman, showing that the hero is already en route to Gattlar. He calls out "Godman! Enlarge!" and upon touching down, runs over to the beast and begins a fierce battle. During this struggle, Gattlar grabs a club-shaped rock and begins swinging it wildly at Godman. Godman continually tries to get the weapon out of the beasts grasp, but Gattlar manages to keep a hold of it and continues using it in his assault against the titular hero. Godman summons a weapon of his own, the God-Crush, to combat the beast with. After an evenly matched battle, Gattlar manages to knock the God-Crush out of Godman's hands, subsequently knocking down the hero, leaving him open to a flurry of blows from the monster's club. Godman manages to get back on his feet, and summons a God-Circle to throw at the monster, knocking the club out of his hands. More battling between the foes ensues, eventually prompting the kyodai hero to re-summon his God-Circles to use against the angry beast. Gattlar attempts to throw a boulder at Godman, however the hero simply ducks out of the way and continues throwing a barrage of God-Circles at the beast. Gattlar tries to get ahold of his club, however tumbles down the hill in his attempt to do so. Godman throws one last God-Circle at the beast, causing it to explode, leaving the titular hero victorious.
