This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Godzilla Rivals (ゴジラ：ライバルズ, Gojira: Raibaruzu, lit. "Godzilla: Rivals") is a quarterly series of one-shot comics by IDW Publishing, each focusing on a battle between different kaiju. The first installment of the series, Vs. Hedorah, was released on June 30, 2021. The first five installments of the series each pit Godzilla against a different foe, while the next three featured unusual matchups of other kaiju. The issues since have varied in format: Vs. SpaceGodzilla had SpaceGodzilla oppose an original monster called Singura, Vs. Mechagodzilla featured Godzilla against Mechagodzilla, and the next three issues have continued spotlighting battles between existing non-Godzilla kaiju. It is the longest-running American Godzilla comic, although due to its irregular publishing schedule, several other series contain more issues. |
