History

Daigoro vs. Goliath

Goliath crashed on Earth in an asteroid and was attacked by Daigoro. Daigoro put up a fight, but Goliath used his horn and nearly killed him. Goliath attacked a few cities, and he stopped to rest on an island. During his rest, the humans put a parachute over Goliath's horn, which stopped it from using electrical powers. He attacked Daigoro, but he was knocked out by Daigoro's flame breath. Goliath was then sent back to space when he was tied to rockets.

Abilities

Physical abilities

In conflict with both humans and Daigoro, Goliath often used brute strength by swinging around his powerful arms and tail. He was able to easily lift and throw a downed Daigoro, as well as flooring his opponent by smacking him with his arms. While not particularly fast on land, he is also capable of leaping dozens of meters.

Electric horn

The horn atop Goliath's head grants him the ability to charge his body with electricity. After lighting up the horn, anything Goliath is holding onto or in contact with his body gets electrocuted. This ability can even shock objects not directly in contact with him charge is strong enough, causing multiple trees to explode around Goliath during his fight with Daigoro in the forest.

Flight

Goliath is capable of flight.

Weaknesses

If Goliath's horn is covered up or struck, it can cause his electrical powers to stop working. When his horn was covered up by a parachute, he could no longer use his powers until it was removed. Later, Daigoro defeated Goliath by damaging and badly burning the horn until it partially broke. The resulting shock floored Goliath, who remained immobile long after.

  • The scene where Goliath is sent into space by a rocket is similar to the methods used in Ultraman to get the lost monster Seabozu home.
