Hiroshi Mukoyama (向山 宏,   Mukōyama Hiroshi) was a Japanese film compositor. After joining Toho in 1940, he became a compositing engineer in 1942. In the midst of the "Toho Dispute" labor unrest between 1946 and 1948, Mukoyama joined the JMTW Union, before ultimately returning to Toho in 1950. After this point, he worked closely with Eiji Tsuburaya on many of the company's tokusatsu productions, eventually gaining the title of chief of compositing staff upon the formation of its special effects division. He resigned from his duties in 1970 after working for a final time on Space Amoeba, and died some time after due to unknown causes. Mukoyama is perhaps best recognized for his work on every Godzilla film from 1954 to 1969.
