Invisible Man (透明人間,   Tōmei Ningen) is a 1954 tokusatsu kaijin film directed by Motoyoshi Oda and written by Shigeaki Hidaka, with special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya. Produced by Toho, it is loosely based on the novel The Invisible Man by H. G. Wells. It stars Seizaburo Kawazu, Miki Sanjo, Minoru Takada, Yoshio Tsuchiya, and Kenjiro Uemura. The film was released to Japanese theaters on December 29, 1954, as a double feature with Shigetaro Iwami: The Battle of Amanohashidate.[1]
