Kamachi is a monster featured in the 2019 web series Godziban, and is the focus of its Attention! Godzilla segments.
Name
Kamachi was initially known as Kamatte-kun (カマッテくん, which comes from the Japanese word kamatte Kamatte-kun) (構って), meaning "attention," which appears in the name of his segment of Godziban, Attention! Godzilla (かまって!ゴジラ. The name is in reference to Kamata-kun Kamatte Gojira) (蒲田くん), the popular nickname for Godzilla's second form in the film Shin Godzilla, upon which Kamatte-kun is based. In Japanese, kamatte-kun (構って君), or kamatte-chan (構ってちゃん), may be used as terms for someone who is an attention-seeker, befitting of the character's role in the series. He was subsequently referred to as "Kamachi" in the show itself. Kamachi is also known as Kamatte Godzilla (かまってゴジラ, which comes from the title of his segment. Kamatte Gojira, lit. Attention Godzilla)
Design
Kamachi is virtually identical in appearance to Godzilla's second form from Shin Godzilla, albeit much smaller.
Personality
Kamachi constantly seeks attention from people in need he comes across, which appears to be intended to comfort them or give them encouragement.
