Much like its predecessor and sister series Konga, it was characterized by numerous social stereotypes and plots wherein Soviet forces attack Konga, and their actions are righted by the United States military. In 1968, Konga's Revenge was relaunched for a second volume, but it only lasted for one issue which itself was a reprint of issue #3 of the first volume. The staff of the comic was never listed and remains unknown. in August 2013, IDW Publishing reprinted issue #2, as well as the issues of Konga that Steve Ditko worked on (issues #1 and 3-15), as a deluxe hardcover collection titled Ditko Monsters: Konga!. |
