Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II

Dr. Asimov was a member of the United Nations science team that constructed Mechagodzilla to battle Godzilla, having joined the G.C.C. division during their analysis of Mecha-King Ghidorah's wreckage.[1] Asimov was present along with various prominent military and government officials watching Mechagodzilla's first battle against Godzilla. After Mechagodzilla was damaged and Commander Aso ordered the crew to make the mecha stand up, Asimov told Aso that it was impossible for the crew to continue fighting in that condition, and that they'd be lucky to make it back alive. Asimov was later approached by Kazuma Aoki, who proposed that the Garuda be modified to assist Mechagodzilla in future battles. Together, Dr. Asimov and Kazuma created the ultimate anti-Godzilla weapon, Super Mechagodzilla.
