History

Kong: King of the Apes

The Adventure Begins

As a child, Lukas's mother divorced he and his brother's father and moved to the eastern United States with her new husband, and left her sons in California with their father. On a camping trip with his brother and father in 2039, a helicopter crashed in the surrounding redwood forest. After their father called the authorities, Lukas lead them in the direction of the crash. En route, Richard stepped in deer feces, which excited Lukas, as it debunked his suspicion that deer were extinct. After hearing an animal scream, Lukas quickly ran off the trail and ended up in a hollow log, watching an infant ape who was cornered by poachers. He offered to help the creature, and they ran from the two poachers who abandoned their hunt when police arrived. Lukas and Kong hid from them as well, as he did not want Kong to be taken away and kept in a zoo or a laboratory. Neither his father nor his brother were immediately on board, but he was able to persuade his father into allowing them to keep Kong on their houseboat for a brief time as a test. They returned to San Francisco, and had to take care introducing Kong to their housekeeper Anita, who was initially fearful of Kong, but quickly warmed up to him. The two played together regularly as Kong grew until the day that he finally became too big for their houseboat. The night that Kong grew through the boat, breaking it around his body, the police came and expressed desire to contain Kong until a judge could decide his fate. Unwilling to comply, Lukas messaged his father, informing him that he and Kong were fleeing to a house in the redwoods that Leo had purchased in order keep Kong for longer. Lukas loved being in the forest, and he and Kong quickly built a secret treehouse hideout overlooking San Francisco. While on an errand one day with his father, they received word that their home laboratory had exploded and that both Richard and Kong had been involved. Kong saved Richard from the fire, but tried to frame him for the accident, which had left him with bionic prosthetic. Lukas remained optimistic, but their mother quickly summoned Richard to Boston, and he left them bitter and vindictive.

Ten years later, in 2049, Lukas was a wildlife rescue professional who had just saved a beluga whale off the coast of Alaska and dropped it off at a marine rescue in Seattle, Washington when he received a call from his father about missing campers in a storm. With all other rescue crews grounded and the threat of the hikers freezing to death, Lukas and his college friend and partner Jonesy went off to Edgewood ravine; a notoriously unstable piece of land. However, the storm quickly battered their helicopter and forced it to ground. In the morning, they prepared to head out, only to see Kong returning with the three hikers on his shoulders. With Kong outed to the public, Dr. Remy was able to negotiate with the governor to convert Alcatraz Island into museum and habitat for the ape, which necessitated cooperation with Richard.

Nearly one year after the park opened its doors, Dr. Remy passed away, leaving Lukas in charge of the park. This lead to conflict with Richard, who did not appreciate their father's goal of conservation and had exceeded his Biono-bot budget while trying to convert rescue habitats into expansions for his dinosaur park while Lukas was away rescuing a Liger and her cub. Later, Lukas took Danny Quon to the Amazon rainforest while Jonesy and Amy remained behind, and started reporting odd and aggressive behavior from Kong. On getting a call from Richard that the ape had gone brezerk, the two returned from South America. Lukas jumped from his helicopter and was grabbed by Kong from atop the Golden Gate bridge, and told him to go to their secret treehouse from when they were kids. After reconvening with Kong and their friends at his now upgraded and specially camouflaged hideout, Lukas got a call from Richard claiming that the Ligers had escaped during Kong's rampage. Jonesy knew it was a trap, but to save the ligers they took the bait. Kong fought off the Biono-bots guarding the army warehouse where they were being kept, while Lukas and Jonesy went inside to save the cats, only to find that removing their restraints triggered a detonator countdown. Unfortunately the army arrived and Lukas grabbed the cub and ran for the woods while Kong grabbed the mother, who did not survive much longer due to the stress of the situation on her heart. Lukas then saw on the news that Kong had been blamed for the heist with himself being billed as his radical master. Proclaiming that Richard had declared war, Lukas prepared to fight back and clear his name.

Snake in the Grass

One morning, Lukas spied Danny batting pinecones at Kong to try and teach him to deflect fire with the new arm bands that Jonesy had developed for him. Kong was instead eating all the pinecones, due to it being the time of year in which they were filled with pine nuts, which the ape loved to eat. Shortly after revealing this to Danny, Lukas received word from Anita that her great niece Francisca had been attacked by a Giant Anaconda in Mexico, so Lukas and Jonesy readied the helicopter to go after her. Given that Kong was very large, and a fugitive, he bade Danny and the ape remain behind, only for them to grab onto the helicopter as it took off. Danny convinced Lukas to let them come along, and Jonesy rigged a harness to allow the vehicle to carry Kong's immense weight. When they finally reached the Usumacincta river, three Biono-bot pterodactyls were awaiting them. Kong was able to fight them off, but Lukas intervened with Jonesy's new laser net gun, allowing him to incapacitate one of the assailants. With the Biono-bots defeated, Lukas and the others combed the shores in search of the girl, who came running, begging them not to hurt the snake when next it surfaced. Lukas called Anita to tell her the good news, and it was arranged that the girl would come live with them and join their rescue operation. However, two of Richard's goons then arrived to try and take the snake again. They sent two Biono-bots after Kong, and set the jungle on fire. This gave them time to get away with the snake, but Lukas and Danny were able to get Kong to put out the fire using water from the river. They flew back home, and arrived at Richard's base on Alcatraz Island that night. Kong was immediately attacked by the anaconda, which was now a cyborg under Richard's control. Richard sent another Biono-bot tyrannosaurus after his brother, but Lukas caught it in a laser net as Botila charged him. Luckily, Jonesy tackled her, but then she threw him to the ground, so Lukas shot her with a net as well. The kids then had the idea to use the helicopter's battery to short the snake's implants, and after making her swallow it she was incapacitated, allowing Lukas and Jonesy to take her home, where Amy was able to remove her implants. They then prepared to release her into the wild, where Richard would never find her.

Kong in 3D

Lukas sees Kong commit a heist on the news, and confronts him about it. It is soon determined that Kong cannot be the culprit, and Lukas theorizes that it may be another of Kong's species. On the way to confront it, Lukas realizes that it must be a hologram projected by his brother to distract the public eye while he commits crimes, and that the one they are heading toward is a mining operation to obtain uranium. Lukas and Doug's helicopter is shot down by Botila, who is overseeing the operation, and he and Doug must get the helicopter working while Kong fights off the surrounding Bionobots. They are able to fly away just as Military planes come to investigate, and in the end the uranium heist is blamed on Lukas.

Poacher's Prize

Lukas and Doug Jones notice that Richard has several Ligers on Alcatraz island that look identical to a deceased Liger whose cub they are caring for. They and Kong then try to rescue them, as he is selling them on the black market. They are able to save two, but the one that Lukas was in charge of procuring was taken to Alcatraz. Lukas and Doug then spend the rest of the episode planning how to infiltrate the island without being spotted while Kong, Danny, and Francisca save it. He and Doug then relocate the three Ligers to a safe location with a population of tigers.

King's Ransom

Amy Quon is kidnapped by Richard, and he calls Lukas to tell him that he had nothing to do with it, and urges Lukas to start looking for her. They track her car to the bottom of San Francisco Bay, where he is attacked by two Megalodon Bionobots that Kong fights off. After not finding Amy in the car, they follow a signal from her phone to a canyon where they are attacked by the police. He, Doug Jones, Danny Quon, and Francisca then infiltrate Alcatraz island to search for her. They are successful and escape the island with Amy.

Little Bots, Big Problems

Lukas discovers the tracking device that was planted on Amy, and sends her and Doug to dispose of it. They then watch Richard re-open the park on Alcatraz island, boating a population of chimps, which Lukas and his team decide to rescue. They eventually see a fleet of helicopters leave Alcatraz, and decide to act while Richard is away. While on the island, they are attacked by the helicopters which Kong does not destroy for fear of hurting the pilots. Lukas then sees that there are no pilots, tells Kong this, and he is able to destroy them and free the chimps. He then relocates them to a safe environment.

Botilazilla

Lukas visits his old house and finds Richard there waiting for him. He urges Richard to stop hunting Kong, but Richard refuses and knocks Lukas down with a force-field. Lukas is horrified at this augmentation, and pulls a gun on his brother. He does not have to use it, as Richard is crushed by a Bionobot's head. He then leaves Richard to the approaching Botila, and returns to the base and watches San Francisco in the distance with Kong.

Bionic Arms Race

Lukas and Doug watch as a Bionobot takes down an incoming missile, and immediately suspect that Richard is behind it. They then bide their time until there is more evidence that Richard is behind it before traveling to Alcatraz to disable his Bionobots, which had been stationed around the globe in preparation for conquest.

Honey I Shrunk the Kong

Lukas and Doug attempt to rescue a stranded aircraft when Kong disappears. After realizing that he was miniaturized, go to Alcatraz island to rescue him. Richard then tries to kill Lukas with a laser beam in his finger, prompting Lukas to shoot Richard, only to have his blast absorbed by Richard's force field. Richard then advances on Lukas with his laser before he is stepped on by Kong.

Kong on Ice

Lukas and Doug travel to the Arctic to rescue polar bears from the rapidly melting ice caps. When they arrive they are attacked by Richard, who imprisons them in his base. The two then talk Botila into letting them out, but when they reach their helicopter they find that Richard had removed an important part from it. Richard then tried to kill Lukas with his finger laser, but it malfunctioned before he could fire. Kong then destroyed the surrounding Bionobots while Doug fixed the ship. Lukas and the team then destroyed Richard's heaters and left him stranded in the Arctic.

Takeover

Lukas and the team are contacted by Richard, who is on the run from Botila. After finding a safe place to hide, they plan an infiltration of Alcatraz island, but Richard steals their helicopter and goes to try and defeat Botila by himself. Lukas and Doug then travel with Kong to the island to help Richard, who tries to drown Kong by taking out the bridge he was climbing on, but Lukas and Doug anticipated this and had taught Kong to swim. The three then left Richard to Botila, and Lukas finally came to terms with the fact that his brother would never change.

Robosquitoes

After vowing to help Kong locate his family, Lukas is bitten by a Robosquito causing him to be filled with desire to destroy Kong. He then remains tied up in the helicopter while Amy Quon searches for an antidote, but when he wakes up they discover that Kong has run away.

Missing

Lukas, Danny, and Francisca search the jungle for Kong, and are attacked by Gorillas when they find him. Kong wards them off, but Richard attacks them, and eventually pushes them into a volcano, that turns out to be a hole into an underground world full of real dinosaurs and giant insects.
