Madison "Maddie" Russell is a character who appears in the 2019 Legendary Pictures Godzilla film, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and is set to return in its 2020 follow-up, Godzilla vs. Kong.
The daughter of Monarch scientists Mark and Emma Russell, Madison has grown up traveling the world with her mother on field assignments. Much like her parents, Madison is noted to be academically gifted, and is fascinated by the scientific subject of her mother's study, although she rarely gets to witness it up close. Currently, Madison is accompanying her mother at Monarch Outpost 61 in China's Yunnan Province, where her mother is studying the Titan known as Titanus Mosura. She maintains a distant relationship with her father, who resigned from Monarch following a family tragedy in 2014, though she contacts him several times a week.
