Magnitude 7.9 (地震列島,   Jishin Rettō, lit. Archipelago Earthquake) is a 1980 disaster film produced by Toho Pictures. Toho released the film to Japanese theaters on August 30, 1980 and it entered American television syndication in 1983. It is the successor to a Japanese TV movie from the same year entitled Giant Tokyo Earthquake Magnitude 8.1, co-produced by Toho Eizo.
