Marvel Comics

Marvel Publishing, Inc., commonly referred to as Marvel Comics, is an American company that publishes comic books and related media.

From 1977 to 1979, Marvel Comics published Godzilla, King of the Monsters, a comic series that integrated Godzilla into the Earth-616 Marvel Universe. After the company's rights to the character expired, a mutated version of the monster appeared in several comics in 1985 and 1986. Godzilla's latest appearance in a Marvel Comic was in a cameo in The Mighty Avengers #1 in 2007, though many similar creatures have appeared in subsequent comics.
