Masaru Sato (佐藤 勝 was a Satō Masaru)Japanese composer, born in Toro City, Hokkaidō on May 29, 1928. Considered one of world's premier film composers in his time, Sato scored over 300 films[1], including frequently collaborations with directors Akira Kurosawa[2] and Jun Fukuda[1]. Sato passed away on December 5, 1999.
