The Monsterverse Omnibus is an upcoming hardcover collection of five reprinted Monsterverse graphic novels—including Godzilla: Awakening, Skull Island: The Birth of Kong, Godzilla: Aftershock, Godzilla Dominion, and Kingdom Kong—and a brand-new Godzilla vs. Kong tie-in story written by Brian Buccellato and illustrated by Mohammad "Zid" Yazid entitled Fight or Flight. It was crowdfunded through Kickstarter and will be published by Legendary Comics in October 2023.

Fight or Flight

Fight or Flight is a new story which will be set during the events of Godzilla vs. Kong and follow "a Naval fighter pilot with a personal attachment to Godzilla."

Development

Legendary Comics launched a Kickstarter campaign for the Monsterverse Omnibus on December 14, 2022. It reached its goal of $10,000 within the same day, finishing with $209,742.

Trivia

• Fight or Flight is the third Monsterverse comic to be illustrated by Zid, after Skull Island: The Birth of Kong and Kingdom Kong. It was originally announced under the title Call to Action.
