Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | Mount Fuji (富士山, Fujisan) is a volcano located in the Chūbu region of central Japan, northwest of Tokyo, and the nation's tallest mountain. As a result of its cultural importance and status as the highest mountain in Japan, it has appeared in countless films set in Japan, including many kaiju films, either as a primary location or a background object. Mt. Fuji has also been featured in tokusatsu television shows and fantasy films outside the giant monster genre, such as Akira Kurosawa's Dreams (1990). |
