Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster

Professor Murai was sent with a team of scientists to investigate a meteor crash in the Kurobe Valley. While observing the meteor, Murai noticed that it gave off magnetic waves and seemed to be growing steadily over time. Around this time, Murai was contacted by journalist Naoko Shindo, who wanted to interview him about the meteor. Murai met with Naoko and her brother, a police detective, only to witness a news report about a strange woman claiming to be a Venusian prophetess, bearing dark prophecies of destruction in the near future. When Murai returned to the meteor site, he suggested that the team leave it, as its magnetism seemed to have vanished. Suddenly, the meteor gave off a strong spike of magnetism before splitting open and releasing King Ghidorah. Murai and his team managed to escape, and Murai quickly met with Shindo and Naoko to find a way to respond to the disaster. The three went to the National Diet Building with the Shobijin to propose a plan to defeat King Ghidorah: Mothra would try to convince Godzilla and Rodan to work with her and fight King Ghidorah. The Japanese government agreed with the plan, and asked the Shobijin to summon Mothra to Japan. As all of the kaiju converged on Mount Fuji, Murai and the others traveled to the laboratory of Dr. Tsukamoto, who was attempting to determine whether the prophetess was really from Venus. However, a group of political assassins led by Malmess had arrived to kill her, believing her to be the princess of Selgina. Shindo managed to drive the assassins away, and he along with Murai, Naoko, Tsukamoto and the prophetess traveled to Mt. Fuji to witness Mothra try to convince Godzilla and Rodan to work with her. Murai and the others observed the ensuing battle between the three Earth monsters and King Ghidorah. After King Ghidorah was driven away and the prophetess regained her memory of being Princess Salno, Murai and the others were present at the airport to see her off as she returned to Selgina.
