Playmates toys is a Hong Kong based company responsible for producing children's toys based on various media properties such as Ben 10, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, King Kong/2005 and Godzilla.

Godzilla and King Kong Figures (2019)
It was announced in 2019 that Playmates toys would be handling Godzilla vs Kong figures for the upcoming 2020 film, some figures based on previous designs of Godzilla, his monsters and Kong were revealed at Brand Licensing Europe 2019 and began to be sold at Walmarts late December, days before Christmas. The molds of these figures have beens compared to other toy manufacturers such as NECA, Bandai and Lanard due to suspicious sculpt similarities between figures.
