Raiga: God of the Monsters (深海獣雷牙 is a 2009 kaiju tokusatsu film, produced by Shinpei Hayashia. This is a sequel to 2005 film, Shinkaijū Raiga)Reigo: King of the Sea Monsters.
Plot
At the beginning of the film, Raiga fights a giant bone fish, and wins. Later bine pisces attack fishermen in the sea. Later, an unlicensed street seller Hadzime walks around the city with his three daughters. He tells them about their late mother and says that he always remembers her, but they don't believe him. In the evening, he and his three friends discuss who will be the treasurer at the festival this year. Friends choose Hadzime as treasurer. Later, drunken Hadzime and friends return home, but suddenly notice lightning striking the store. After this they run away. The professor considers the bone fish he found, but it attacks him.
Later, Hadzime's daughters spot him with another woman and quarrel with him. Meanwhile, Raiga gets out of the water, and politicians discuss about the explosion on a boat near the beach. They decide to attack monster immediately. Raiga attacks the city, and military planes attack it. During a long battle, the military manages to wound Raig, who retreats into the sea.
Two months have passed. Hadzime sells T-shirts with the images of Raiga and earns a lot of money. One of Hadzme's daughters, Matsuri, tells him that she wants to work in show business. Bonefish attack people on the beach. Friends of comedian say him about this attack. He says that his father worked on the battleship Yamato, and they were attacked by these bone fish and the dragon Reigo. Meanwhile, Raiga attacks the city. The military is beginning to fight off him. During this time, Hadzime sends his daughters to the hotel, and he goes to his mistress. However, he decides to return to his daughters. Second Raiga appears and starts fighting with the first Raiga. He kills the first Raiga and marks his territory.
At the end of the film, Hadzime decides to spend more time with his daughters. He says the monsters wanted to tell people that Earth is in poor condition.
