King Kong's Motto" (ガオー!はキングコングの合い言葉, Gaō ha Kingu Kongu no Aikotoba) is a song written for promotion of the 1976 film King Kong, and performed on the Good Morning! Kid's Show. It was recorded by Japanese artist Masato Shimon, who sang several promotional songs for the Godzilla franchise; composed by Asei Kobayashi; and arranged by Hiroshi Takada with lyrics by Shigeo Niwa. It was released as a single by Toho Records, and has since been released as part of several Masato Shimon compilation albums. The original release featured a disco-inspired track on its B-side titled "King Kong Dance." |
