This is the Rokurokubi's first heroic role. Appearing in an old shrine, along with several other yokai, she was asked to help evict the Babalonian Daimon from the Kappa's territory. At first, she didn't believe that such a thing like Daimon existed, but after children literally ran to the yokai's hang out for shelter, then learning that Daimon, possessed as the emperor, did the Yokai spring into action. Rokurokubi, along with the other Yokai, freed the captured children from the guards, and literally, stuck her neck out. She let Daimon try to suck her blood, only to lengthen her neck in an attempt to scare him, only to have him tie her neck in a knot. Later, she took part in trying to find the real Daimon among the clones as many yokai attempted to do the same.

Yokai Monsters: 100 Monsters

Though appearing in shadow, the Rokurokubi can be seen in the background as the Yokai take revenge on the humans who disrespected them.

But when all the yokai, monsters, spirits and demons converged on a single place for a festival, Rokurokubi was there enjoying the party.
