Shunsuke Kikuchi

Shunsuke Kikuchi (菊池俊輔 is a prolific Kikuchi Shunsuke)Japanese composer and arranger. Active since 1961, Kikuchi has composed for a wide array of Japanese media. Early in his career he was known for composing the scores for tokusatsu productions such as the Gamera and Kamen Rider series and animation such as Doraemon. Kikuchi is perhaps most famous as the composer for the highly influential anime Dragon Ball Z which ran from 1989 to 1996. Since then, Kikuchi has continued working as a composer, even composing insert songs for the Super Sentai series. As of 2017, Kikuchi has become ill, and has stopped writing music.
