The special effects are the highlight of the film - the Brontosaurus rampage, Kong vs. the Meat-eater, Kong climbing the Empire State Building, you name it. It's just a generally well-made film, even if parts of it haven't aged well. Also a very important film - everyone should watch it, especially if you're a giant monster fan.) | ||||

One of my concerns for the future of the MV is that they'll replace dead kaiju with the same species or reveal that a given monster only seemed to be the last one, but actually, there are endless others. Bernie and Trapper were great, and despite the idiotic name, skar king was actually good.
