Sphectra is a giant wasp monster created by Epyx that first appeared in the 1986 video game The Movie Monster Game.
History
No actual backstory is ever told. One day, Sphectra invades a city to eat, save his offspring that humans captured, or destroy a landmark that contains an annoying radio signal emitter. In the Escape scenario, he was captured by humans. He managed to break out of his cage, but now he must find his way out of the city.
