Takahide Morichi (森知 貴秀 (たかひで),   Morichi Takahide), sometimes erroneously credited as Kishu Morichi (森知 貴秀 (きしゅう),   Morichi Kishū),[3] was a Japanese film producer and production manager, and the former senior managing director of Toho Pictures, Inc. He began working for Toho in 1966 as an assistant production manager, eventually serving as the production manager of several tokusatsu films in the 1970s and '80s. In his later years, he co-produced the 2002 film Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla with Shogo Tomiyama. Morichi passed away in August of 2017 at the age of 78.[2]
